Is Skin Care Just for Women ?

Do men need to have a need for good skin care or is it just for women? This is not a subject that is often talked about, nor is it highly promoted in the billion dollar skin care industry. Just look at the many product offerings in the store and who they are geared to: WOMEN primarily. After all it seems to be more socially acceptable for men to age than women. Look at the multitude of actors and actresses or TV personalities, some who have been declined parts due to their aging appearance. 

Well times are changing. Many men now are starting to pay more attention to their appearance. We have just for men in the stores a simple system to help men cover the grey hair in their beard and mustaches as well as the hair on their heads. Women have been coloring their hair for decades. Each new razor comes out with better ways to give closer shaves while causing significantly less trauma to the skin on the face. 

Society is changing. We are becoming more conscious of our appearance and we are desperately trying to slow the aging process. Most men gravitate toward a younger appearing female that's just the way it works. But on the flip side do you want to be asked if your spouse is your mom or your dad? The reality is some people age more gracefully and others do not. What if there was a way for this not to happen that worked for both men and women?? We all want to age gracefully and slow that process down as much as we can. We are more conscious about the being outside in the sun than our grandparents were 50 years ago. We use sun screen and moisturizers and anything else we think may help, which is why the anti-aging skin care market is booming. 

Before spending your hard earned money on the product advertised on TV, do your research to find out if it's the product for you. How was it tested? Is what they are saying actual facts or just enough to get you to spend your hard earned money? If you don't like it can you return it? Eventually we will all grow old as that is something we cannot stop. What we can do is slow it down for a period of time, if we find the right product for us.
